WSW Refurbishments has recently finished work on The Elms School. The team completed comprehensive work on the school, transforming the property into a more usable, modern space which supports a healthy learning environment.
WSW installed new powder-coated aluminium windows throughout the entire building. They also cut out a structural opening, installing a made-to-measure structural steel beam. This enabled a new reception hatch opening to be formed, improving overall visibility for access by installing a bespoke glazed screen system. WSW also removed some pupil toilets to create a new storage room for deliveries.

The team installed a new fire shutter linking to the existing fire alarm system, as well as a new access control system that allows control of the newly installed external gates and doors within the ground-floor entrance while also monitoring visitors from a newly installed video system. Once the major works were completed, the team also decorated throughout.
The work completed at The Elms School marks another successful refurbishment project within the education sector. WSW Refurbishments has a strong understanding of the unique challenges of working within a school environment and always ensures the project is completed on time, within budget, and avoids interruption to the children’s learning.
